You bring up a good point. There’s so many good examples of people living their faith in the community that we sometimes overlook it. During my homilies, I try to help people become aware that living out their faith is beyond the church building or official ministries. It really goes beyond that, faith in practice enters the lives of people when they leave church and interact with others at their work, social gatherings, and neighborhood networks.
